Zero77
I think there are PE wheel bay canvas from RB. They must be for the Hasegawa G or K, but could possibly be adapted to the Eduard early 109 kits? Otherwise you can build your own with lead sheet. As an example, what i've done for my P-36. Not exactly the same type, but it's the idea. It was quite easy, though the paint did not adhere very well on the lead. Thanks for the tip there...looked at the option lead foil... The tricky thing on theese wheelbase is not uniform around.....and very narrow close to front end.... Ill come up with something... Zero77
You can first use some paper templates to get the shape approximately, and then measure the height of the wheel well in several points all around it and report the height on your template to cut it to dimension. Of course it wont be a rectangle but rather something with a bow on one side. Once you have your template you can use it for both sides. LSP_K2
Lead is soft enough that you can probably just glue it in place, then trim the excess away with a sharp knife. mpk and Mal_Belford
Mal_Belford
Yep it is....and thought that to...but i have to trim it first as the egde is on the canvas... Allright...some trying here... This might be something...and the zipper in place... Mk1 try.... This might work.... As i said...make it little more buzy in the wheel wells Edited November 14, 2016 by Mal_Belford Zero77, Sparzanza, mpk and 4 others

tomv87
Looks good Mal. Here's an idea; can you wrinkle up the tape a bit (or wad it up)? Maybe that could make the wrinkles in that fabric. I know that tape is probably hard to wrinkle up then pull apart... Looking good bud! Mal_Belford and mpk
