Mal_Belford
Allright. The Aircraft is done...... i know many followed this build...that been a task for me for shure. Now it is finally done, 1 1/2 year to complete. Alot of new things here for me....´This one got number 15 since my restart. Paints ive used is all Tamiya and Alclad,Vallejo for detail painting (knobs and such things) The weathering teqhniques, were Oilpaints...and Tamiya Panel Accent wash, and postshading. No preshade at all. No Putty....(i dont recall) as the kit indeed is a wonder to build. Some scratchbuilding, the details on the Engine cowling flaps, used plastic card and copper wire, on the Engine..fishing line as ignition wire....but not much more....as i try to keep it basic All the Paints are all my own mixes, and my interpret of it whole, as the idea is quite new Aircraft, and with trainee markings on it. a few accidents did happen on the way...as i tried to correct the Wheels in to far to late stage...and yes they snapped.....and the build were paused for a while... But i got help from fellow members from this forum....and encouragement from many on email and here on the LSP Forum Messenger.... Special thanks to a few.... Tom87, Got New New Placards..... Peterpools, Got New Landing gear...... and thanks to Fredrik Almlöf for the custom cutted vinyl mask for the option of this Aircraft........as he made several extra ones if failed......but never needed to use them..... Also a special thanks to Hans Göransson at Hobbybokhandeln in Sweden, coaching me thru this build in colors techniqs... BIG BIG Thanks for your help here to finnish my build...as it means alot to me to get support like this...... And yes......in this build ive putted all my skills what ive learned so far in building.....damn i am my own worst critic.....oh well...this will do just fine for me...easy to be hard one youre self isnt it....some things i could do better maybe...but hey sometimese let it go...and do a new build...key is to finnish em aswell i Think. So Big Thanks to ya ALL... now enough talking....over to the pics....... David Hansen
Brilliant Job, Mal. Regarding light balance, i think this round of pictures do a much better job of capturing the bluish hue of the early blue gray paint. Your previous pics failed to convey this; the model looked much more "gray". I know the carrier deck was a disappointment but it does not reflect badly on your model. I'm still having issues with my carrier deck, so your'e not alone. d-bot Mal_Belford
