LSP_K2 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I have a wager with some friends that I'll have at least one project finished for the nationals next year in Ohio, and this will be that entry. After attending at least three conventions, I've always wanted to enter, but it just never seems to happen; I intend to change that next year. Obligatory contents shot, (I sort of went nuts with the AM, but at least should now have the ability to make it as "busy" as I see fit). dpastern, mpk, Kagemusha and 5 others 8
Iain Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 That's quite a stash of aftermarket! Great subject - following along Kevin... Iain LSP_K2 1
dodgem37 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Dog! What a haul. I'm with iain: Great subject, following along. Sincerely, Mark LSP_K2 1
LSP_K2 Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 I have mucho references to help, these two perhaps being the most useful. Menelaos, sandokan and mpk 3

LSP_K2 Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 Wow! Nice choice ! This will be awsome I am sure Well, the scheme I chose is a deviation from the normal Wespen scheme, and should pose quite a painting challenge, but I like that idea a lot.
Guest Peterpools Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Kev Surely is going to be a killer build and a must follow. Good luck and I'm pulling for you to reach your goal and medal as well. Keep 'em coming Peter
LSP_K2 Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 Thanks, Peter, Finishing is one thing, being competitive is another. If it's finished to my satisfaction, I'll be a happy guy.
LSP_Ron Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 You may want to look up some on line builds of this kit and book mark them for reference. You are soon to find out that that is the most confusing and lacking instruction sheet ever to grace the shelves of hobby shops. LSP_K2 1
LSP_Kevin Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Looking forward to this one Kevin! I have this kit in the stash too, though pretty much no aftermarket for it. I'm hoping one day to build it alongside the Revell kit I have. It'll be great seeing what you do with it. Kev LSP_K2 1
Guest Peterpools Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Kev I'm still with you all the way Peter
mywifehatesmodels Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 I'm REALLY looking forward to this one, Kevin. I just got the same kit a couple weeks back, so following your build will be a great tutorial, of sorts. If you're willing to give it away, what scheme have you chosen? I think I know which one I want to do (when I get around to it), but don't want anyone to feel like I've copied them, either. John LSP_K2 1
Wolf Buddee Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Oh my, I'm going to need a lot more popcorn! Lookin' forward to seeing what you'll make of this Kevin. Cheers, Wolf LSP_K2 1

Photo caption says this is a C-4, and the only real difference I see is the spinner and extra armor on windscreen, yet I have a profile drawing (I know), that shows the open type spinner, but,... photos don't lie.
