WildWeasel78
I use Decals from xtradecals and Fantasy Print shop. The Low-Viz roundels from xtradecals are to big, the Fantasy was correct. Monty Python
Lovely build of a lovely aircraft. Brings back memories of days gone by when at the airshows the Lightnings used to power down the runway, pull their wheels up and stand the aircraft on it's tail to climb vertically like a rocket. Also remember when they regularly broke the sound barrier at the airshows. No body bothered about the supersonic boom then. Them were the days Chris

dutik
Really impressive! Congratulation! Not to mention the cutting and correcting of a nearly finished model... Why has it a white overwing tank? Replacement from another airplane or something functional? BTW, will you display the model at Luebeck or Dortmund exhibition? Or in the autumn in Gatow? Next to a real one? Regards! - dutik

bdthoresen
I love the Lightning, too bad I have never had the opportunity to see one fly, I hear it was of special magnificence. I love the different overwing tanks you chose. Good job considering you got her 3/4 of the way built. Always harder to redo one, rather than build it from the beginning. Great Job- THOR
