  1. Voted for AH-1 (though my finger hovered over the P-51!) Nate Cutlass
  2. I have had a couple acrylic cases made for me by a local plastics shop. It isn't cheap. I think mine ran about $60 for a 12"x9" x10" top, no base ( I already had a base). However they did a much better job than I could have ever done. The tops were made of three pieces as one piece is folded 90 degrees twice - no seams - then two end caps glued on. Looks very professional that way. With a local provider there is no shipping charges which helps with the costs.
  3. Sounds like you have it covered then! Looking forward to seeing it in 3D!
  4. I think Graham was suggesting CNC'ing the parts for the masters, then making resin copies for sale.
  5. Clark tractor would definitely be welcome! Heck, Tamiya has one in 1/48 th; we need one!
  6. Really looks good, William!
  7. Another: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=27019&st=0&p=231284&hl=heritage&fromsearch=1entry231284 Please note neither are finished!
  8. Here is a build thread started here on LSP: http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=23420&st=0&p=191773&hl=124%20heritage&fromsearch=1entry191773
  9. I agree with Mike, sounds like a seal issue. Maybe there should be an o-ring somewhere?
  10. Nice looking AD-4! I will have to definitely get the concept notes!
  11. I think I would be in for a sheet, too.
  12. This one also has some good detail info in it: B-17 Owners Manual
  13. Avionix/Black Box did a RF-C nose for the Tamiya kit, maybe that is the one they are talking about. It looks quite good, too.
  14. Crap! You are right, Kev! All these new compaines, I am starting to lose track! That does make it strange that it is Hobby Boss coming out with a 1/32nd one!
  15. I assume Hobby Boss is doing a P-61 in 1/32 because they already have one in 1/48. So they have most of the data, just need to rearrange and cut molds in a larger scale. The 1/48 th kit has gotten pretty good reviews, although the cowl openings are too small in diameter. Hopefully they will fix this detail, and add a few more for our scale, when/if they do cut molds. I woukd feel better though if I saw a review from someone like Derek who is vry familiar with the Widow...
  16. Really coming along beautifully, Christian!
  17. Well said, Harold! You are turning the Revell Mirage into a top-shelf kit, Eric!
  18. Is it possible the Fe's were so useful that they were used until they were lost? Anyway, looks like a great start! I got this kit, too, but I better get some easier rigging kits done first!
  19. Nice work on an old model, Barney!
