  1. They had mentioned somewhere that decals for the all-metal version would be included, if I remember correct.
  2. I guess I must be quite down the Viggen line as I did not place an early order. I didn't ask yet but yesterday I received their monthly update about the 1/48 Neptune project so I assume all should be fine on their side. I'd wonder a few years ago but now I'm used to how they work therefore not concerned.
  3. Excellent... and definitely inspiring. I have not visited any subject in 1/24 so far but I think it should be time.
  4. Excellent build! I needed such a kick to start mine in the stash.
  5. WOW!!!! Really splendid Viggen with panels and rivets so nicely exposed!!
  6. I try to support such enterprise whenever I can and as far as my budget allows. But I expect the producer must do his homework right and give me a good kit. I can tolerate the production media's or material's shortcomings and rectify these during build as much as I can, however I would not bother with any kit with so many shape issues. Some products listed -the Star Wars stuff in particular- look better than others but some are really miles away from the real shape. That is not what I would accept when it comes to such price tags.
  7. I did not know the brand and thought it was a new 1/32 Buccaneer! One day, hopefully!!
  8. Exactly my point! Some things may need to be better and that is even fine if they are corrected by the manufacturer but "all sort of negative feedback" is the phrase what I am objecting to.
  9. Just go ahead and don't hesitate. I have seen one sold for 465 Euros on ebay.
  10. I have seen several Jetmads Viggens and my Oscar goes to your build, definitely awesome
  11. You are absolutely misinformed and I really wonder how many Jetmads kits your misinformers ever built. We are speaking of resin kits, some warps and fit issues can be possible here and there due to the nature of the material but as one of their customers since their start "all sorts of negative feedback" more sounds to me like a bias if not smear. The only earlier kit before the Viggen is the D-558-1 Skystreak, which I bought two copies, and I had no fit issues at all. One of the canards of my Viggen was a bit warped in its crammed box full of parts and that was simply brought to shape when I blew hot air with hairdryer. I can go far as to say that some parts go so well together even better than some of the plastic kits I have built. My Learjet arrived last week, have not started the build yet but I did a few test fits and all seems ok.
  12. I am really excited to learn this and looking forward the pre-orders date. I wonder if this is AJ only or AJS as well.
  13. Agree! This list can go on and on but 1/32 F-111 is top of my list too. Maybe we should bombard Jetmads with emails demanding it
  14. Impressive kit, thanks for the photos. It looks even better to the naked eye as I see it with my kit. I am really looking forward to their future releases.
  15. They have an excellent customer service and they respond to whatever you ask, in my experience. Your email may have dropped in spam as had happened to me once. I'd send another email or better try their dialogue box on their website.
  16. Good to remember Syria!! However that is how it was BEFORE the earthquake already. Not much left to worry about
  17. Spectacular metallic paint job!
  18. What some find irrelevant and unjustified may seem reasonable to others. I have a friend with deep pockets, he builds WW2 stuff and he is a pure fan of this release and was about to place an order last time we spoke. Should not be big deal for one If he thinks this is what he needs / wants that comes only once in a lifetime and he is not a penny-saver to buy kits.
  19. I'm left in between the price and my will to build a vac 1/32 F-111 with all the available aftermarkets.
  20. 10919 is mine and got that same message today.
  21. Absolute beauty!! Great finish Piero, this one with the metal nozzle cone is the one I too have my eyes on, I think it brings together both the great camouflage scheme and a very nice touch of the metal finish. You have done a wonderful job, that is a big Viggen to be truly jealous of
  22. Would you please now make another top 5 list and not forget to include F-111, F-101, F-102, F-106... (and you choose the fifth)... all in 1:32 please
  23. The nozzle details on the exterior surface looks good, cannot say the same for the interior faces and actuators. Good to see someone had the good idea to include the cockpit mirrors. Looking forward to seeing how the rest comes as well as the announced other F-4 variants.
