'Flying Circus' - Jasta 11 (Diorama base)
Dutch Man replied to kkarlsen's topic in Works in Progress
Speechless, is that the right word, or are there some other additional noises to make? The collection and gathering of the little peoples is just amazing, very natural. Bookmarked! Kind regards, Robert Jan -
Great to follow this one. If like your other projects, 2022 it will be close to finish? Super Modeling Skills you show us every time. Kind regards, Robert Jan

The colors are so convincing. Brilliant job you do on that. Learning a lot... Keep it coming, I really enjoy the updates. Kind regards, Robert Jan -
This was my first 1/32 build. A one day build, starting on a Saturday morning with 3 other family members, team build for sure and finished round 5 PM, when my 3 nephews went home. Those were the days...Late Seventies / Early Eighties. Will follow along. Robert Jan

Thanks for the reply. Little chance I get that stuff in a plane to Thailand. (If it's a lacquer... you can make a firebomb out of it policy), at least it's not Covid-19, so will check It looks just very good. See what my LHS in online Thailand can do with this information. Kind regards, Robert Jan

Like said. How do you get such smooth color on micro cm2? Robert Jan, fighting with his air brushes today, 2 down, one to go.... Regards...

PZL P.6 1931 from scratch scale 1/32
Dutch Man replied to Marcin_Matejko's topic in Works in Progress
What is said, great show you present us. Had the opportunity during lunch today watching the build you gave the link for. My brothers son looks into the sky, every time to see if there is airplane. We live close to Bangkoks 2 airports. After a while you hear "Amazing" when he sees one and points his finger, the boy is 2.5 years old, Thai and speaks also a perfect English for his age.(I like that and also my brother). Thats what I was thinking during lunch today, amazing. A real joy to watch your work. Very inspiring. Kind regards, Robert Jan -
Very tempting to just purchase this beautiful kit. Looking at your build it must be a fun ride. I got a reminder on the filler, long waited but now it's on the way to my doorstep(I immediately checked with BNA in Australia) Always have trouble with fillers, so see what this brings, (also some other material on purchase I need for the Sabre). Hope Thai customs is friendly on the P.O. from outside Thailand. They blocked the purchase from China. 2 models I bought are on hold now for more than 1 month already. Looking forward to see some paint on the F-84G. Kind regards, Robert Jan

From research and a topic started in LSP Discussion, I learned I have to shorten them. Link provided with the drawing how to cut is very helpful. Did not do that yet, first I started with the cockpit. Also some aftermarket is on its way. Fit of this "old kit" is really good. Panel lines and the "rivets" will be a challenge, but have a plan how to solve that. Link for the LSP Discussion Topic: Pictures to follow soon on the building progress. Kind regards, Robert Jan

That looks the part! Wow.. Like it. Robert Jan

More progress. Been working, finally completing a lot of kits that will go with the F-4D. Today the rain came back to Thailand after almost 4 months. What a relief. Not for my airbrushing though. It will go upstairs, still have to buy a decent booth, or make one myself. Ok. Decals almost ready, so. Pictures. videoaviation, very nice kit. Still have to add some fragile parts and warning signage/shields My first kit from videoaviation, MJ-1A Loader early type. Plan to get the camo fixed for the F-4D next week, depending on the weather.... Thats all for now. Robert Jan

Thanks for the link Iain. I lost it somehow over the years. Some great books and decals that got my attention already now. Kind regards, Robert Jan

Hi John. The service levels of BNA are very good, totally agree on that. A big plus for purchasing aftermarket materials when modeling in Thailand. Good luck building this beauty, Robert Jan -

Really looks the part now. Cool plane, one of the first I ever build (in 1/72 scale). Kind regards, Robert Jan -
Impressed with every detail of the build, just outstanding! What Peter already wrote, what's next? Can imagine one needs to recover from building this high level models, but please.... Kind regards, Robert Jan

Hello all. Just found out about this GB and why not jump in. I want to build Erich Hartmanns JA-111 from JG 71 "Richthofen". I will use the Hasegawa F-86F-40 "Blue Impulse Sabre" kit. I also have the Avionics F-86F-30 Cockpit Set. When all is mixed together, with some plastics surgery on wingtips and the Peddinghaus 2584 CL-13 decals set , I hope it looks at least a bit like a Sabre Mk6. Have some additional aftermarket on the way. See how this goes, where it ends. More to follow later, when there is some progress to show. Kind regards, Robert Jan

Hello Gerhard. HaHen makes the set you need. Kind regards, Robert Jan

Thanks all for the information. I did get the advice from GT Resin on the subject. Meantime I purchased the Avionics nose and gear bay set. Still not sure if I want to order the GT Resin set. Kind regards, Robert Jan
