  3. It's quite acceptable for you to question the accuracy of Trumpeter's kits, however the engineering of their kits is very good and to date I haven't seen any of their kits that don't assemble well, including the HobbyBoss ones.
  4. At this moment the decal is available here in Brazil, but it will be available also with Hannant's in England and The48ers.com in Cyprus, as soon they restock the decals.
  5. Hello guys,I just released a 1/32 scale decal for the A-7E with full stencils plus insignia, for the 1/32 Trumpeter kit. I decided to make it as a separate decal to save space on the decals with versions, since without these items you gain space for more options, and every A-7 kit comes with insignias and some stencils. Hence, those who do not want this type of hyper detailing (and there are those who do not like it), use these items from the native decal kit. In the same way, those who want to hyper detail the version of the kit or another manufacturer, have the option of buying just the stencil pack.
  6. I've been dreaming about a Mirage F1 in 1/32 scale since the day I discovered its existence, in the early 80's. Since then, more than 40 years have passed and no manufacturer has pointed in that direction. I was immensely frustrated when I heard that KittyHawk came from the departure of one of Trumpeter's designers who left there taking with him the project of a Mirage F1 that would be released by Trumpeter, and when taken to kittyHawk, it was downscaled to 1/48 ... I still hope to see a 1/32 Mirage F1 in this life... Plastic, always plastic. Resin is another world... Currently I do not expect a kit from bigger planes like Mirage F1, Rafale, F-22 or any modern jet coming from any other manufacturer than Trumpeter, hoping not to come with too many issues... Even with the mistakes, when Trumpeter does it, and does it wrong, who would do another correct one? I like the A-7 Corsair II, Trumpeter did it wrong, and in all scales. For 1/72 and 1/48 there are better options, but in 1/32 their kit is the only game in town. Will any other manufacturer make another one? If so, I certainly won't live to see that.
  7. Revell could take their good JU-88A kit and repop that with new parts for JU-88C fighters versions, or JU-188, just few sprues and a dream come true... Trumpeter could make new parts using their MIG-23 kit and bring us a MIG-27. Also few new parts could bring us a P-38M
  8. Not all kit makers comment on their projects, others advance so much that they end up canceling before they start... We know that ICM promised an HS-123 as the next aviation release in 1/32, and recently Trumpeter released the Devastator, which was promised several years ago. Daco had promised a Fouga Magister in 1/32 and then, they did not talk about it anymore, Special Hobby promised a Thyphoon Mk.I and a Macchi 200, but they are masters at going back on promises... Does anyone know soething about any relevant release, in plastic (not reboxes or releases of already available kits from other manufacturer) in progress out there?
  9. Companies often release the less popular versions first, when the more attractive version comes later, as they did with the new P-51D. However, this happens when these variants are already in the initial project, and the difference between them is restricted to a few parts. We see this with Revell's new P-51D, JU-88, He-111. The Meteor Mk.III only shares parts at this level, with the Mk.I. The F.8 version is a mostly new kit. It will be really surprising if it comes later. Revell has hesitated not to continue their modular kits, such as the JU-88 that died as the A-4, when with very few parts it could have reissued as the JU-88C or even the JU-188.
  10. To be interesting worldwide, I believe the best seller would be an F.8, but I can't guess what Revell's perception will be... I'm heavily cheering for an F.8 !
  11. The Greif was very near to FlyingFortress in its measures: He-177: Length: 22.00 m (72 ft 2 in) Wingspan: 31.44 m (103 ft 2 in) B-17: Length: 22.66 m (74 ft 4 in) Wingspan: 31.62 m (103 ft 9 in)
  12. I asked Italeri about the MC-202: Hello all, I would like to ask if we will have the release of the 1/32 Mc.202 Folgore in scale still this year? Their answer: Gentile Sig. Cordiali saluti, Tania Italeri Staff
  13. I hope they can take the 3D designs they have ready too. HK had a Jaguar Mk.I and an F-11 ready for 1/32 that were not released...
  14. The decal offers five versions with full stencils, enough for one complete model, including brazilian and french versions. Already available!
  15. Waiting for DACO 1/32 Magister!
  16. For many years I have collected decals from different brands in addition to seeing what happens with the decals that come with the kits. Practically all western kit manufacturers concentrate the production of their decals with Cartograf, but one thing that I have seen in the decals made there is that over the years they turn yellow, it is practically impossible to use the decals made for Hasegawa and Tamiya, which are already yellow in the box, while decals printed in Microscale for more than 30 years are still as new. I discovered that this was because unlike the other manufacturers, which print the clear film as the last layer of printing on the decal, Microscale first prints the clear film and so all the colors over it, in this way even though the film turns yellow, the Decal colors are not affected. That detail was what made me decide to print the FCM decals with Microscale, and I have been very satisfied in these ten years of partnership.
  17. Are These figures valid for other WW2 british fighters?
  18. I think it is premature to think that just because future projects that were planned before were not listed, this means that they have been aborted. this may just be a necessary adjustment facing changes in the target market. No one has any way of knowing what any manufacturer will be releasing three or four years from today.
  19. "News directly quoted by Mirek of HpH Models. Infinity Models will be the brand for injection molded planes from HpH. First kit will be the 1/32 SB2C Helldiver. Release is scheduled for 2nd quarter of 2020. First production run will be 1000 kits. Planned for the future are in 1/32 scale: DH. Vampire Mk.3/ Mk.5, Westland Wyvern, Aichi D3A Val, Savoia-Marchetti SM.79, Douglas A-20 Havoc and Bristol Beaufighter Mk.X. There will be no more new resin kits from HpH except some large model projects like the Me-323 Gigant and maybe SR-71 in 1/32."
