Nice work on the Shinden! I will say I am jealous of the corrugating tool you have! Does it permit various dimensions? Alain

Very impressive model, and thanks for the in progress pictures. The level of detail is fantastic! Alain

Great model! Very nice to see a Ki-61 in green. I would like to make me in a green finish also. I also use pastels on all my projects. Alain

Nice work Max! Those missiles look surprisingly good for vacuform parts. Obviously this kit was created with good references and also great skill in the vacuform medium. You're lucky to have one! I'm happy I have the Airfix 1/48 kit. Alain

Nice looking model! I like the camo scheme and markings a lot! Alain -
My prefered variant also! The front opening canopy and larger nose intake make it very appealing. Nice project and I am following with interest! That decal sheet is nice! Alain

Very cool project and nicely started! Someone could do a home built with a small reliable engine... Alain -
Great work! If l'm correct in looking at the picture, the aircraft has no ailerons? Then it relied on wing warping. Must have been difficult to control. Alain

One fine looking I-16! Alain -
It is very interesting to learn about the story behind your choice of subject. Very cool trip in the former DDR! The Trump kit has some flaws but still looks nice OOB. The Black Box cockpit fits well, but I found that the angle of the section at the fuselage spine is a bit different from the kit part but this is very easy to correct. Alain

Nice correction on the canopy! Alain

Very nice and clean job! Looks fantastic! Alain -
Sad to hear that, best wishes to you and your family. Alain

Looks great and different from the usual paint scheme! One thing: why the insignia on the top right wing? Alain
-
The Eduard kit instructions show 6062 with the exact paint scheme as in my above post, but with the added serial number and insignia. No insignia on the left wing top side though. The bottom side of the left wing is orange. Alain

Found these two photos, curiously no markings are visible.

Me too, I never noticed this. I guess it is for the same reason rockets have a unique white/black pattern. We are naturally not used see a non symetrical paint job.
-
Interesting! Looks white of course, and also the fairing under the fuselage. I would be looking for more photos to confirm the colors under the wings. Alain

Great start! I love that twin rudder arrangement! Alain

Great start Max! Looks like a nice kit. Could you give your opinion on the kit's accuracy and finesse as a vac and what's provided (or planned) for all the details ie cockpit and landing gear. Alain Iain has answered my question a bit as I was writing this! Thanks!
