Your options are Tamiya (F-4E), Tamiya (F-4C/D) or Tamiya (F-4J)!
The OOP Revell F-4E may depict one of the rare slat wings planes used very late in the war and the RF-4C one Recce bird. However you will have to find AM decals and both kits ask for far more work than the Japanese options. The Academy re-release of the Revell F-4E has SEA schemes AND the hard wings with TISEO. However, it has the same issues than the original kit.

Because the Ta 152 fuselage was lengthened in that area. Compared to the Fw 190D series, the Ta 152's cockpit was positioned further aft of the wing, and the engine located further forward of the wing. Thus, there was more room inside the Ta 152's fuselage in that area.

I might have to get some of these for my 21st C kit, as they're terrible in that one!

I wasn't even going down the scale road. But since you opened the can, I will NEVER build a plane in 1:35 scale. It's a bastard scale that should never have existed in the first place. I'll put up with it for armor, but only because I have little choice.

That is straight off the factory blueprint. I'm not sure if that is a print dated after the official change to OD 613 (which was likely only applied to the last few batches of P-40Ns - if at all) and therefore the last 2 digits were lost somehow, or if that 6 refers to one of the print's notes.

No matter, though, since that area was either OD or Sand (depending on the camo scheme) from the factory.

D Bellis reacted to Archimedes in Biggest quantity of one particular kit in the stash?
If we are talking general stash numbers now, then (having just counted) 59 in total. I am down to buying very few kits at all in any year but I am buying AM if justified (e.g. metal undercarts for the big beasts) and books.

I started 1/32 modelling determined to focus only on WWI aviation but then realised civil aviation has a real pull for me so that got added in and then Border made a Lancaster, Kotare made a Spitfire and I watched ‘The Battle of Britain’ for the nth time and I remembered how much I enjoyed build WWII subjects as a kid.

…and then there are all of the non aircraft kits: ships, cars and a little armour.

If I built four a year I might just squeak making all I have but that is probably not realistic. So I shall enjoy whatever it is I am building in the present moment, try not to bankrupt myself in the interim and simply enjoy the process of learning how to make my models a bit more convincing as I build each one. Fun!

D Bellis got a reaction from Archimedes in Biggest quantity of one particular kit in the stash?
The largest number of 1/32 and 1/24 kits by subject matter I have:

    Fw 190s & Ta 152s - 39 stash, + 7 built and 1 underway.
    Bf 109s - 27 stash, + 6 built and 1 underway.

Hundreds of other subjects as well, but none come close to the numbers of '190s and '109s.

And I will build them all.

    Hey Carl,  Bill,

Good to hear all is well in Canada.  I'll have some news to announce soon about some sponge adhesive pads to use with the D400 (sander)..  There is also a new template being offered to easily cut out the sponges that will fit each individual shapes for the sander tips that come with the D400.  I haven't had a chance to try them out yet but I have a good mate to let him go through this for us.

Coming soon there will be a new drill press device to use with the D550 router that is coming out soon.  This is a vertical mount drill press using the D550 (semi pro) that will also have a small table type saw device as an added feature to use.  Coming soon.  If interested, I can provide send some pictures of the prototype.

The new D150 mini pin vise is also a great addition and sells well.

A great shout out to all you gent's for supporting me for the past several years.  Thank you.

    Kindest regards,

    Troy
