LSP_K2
All major fuselage seams now dealt with. Still a few minor touch-ups needed here and there, but hopefully ready for primer this week. LSP_K2
I’ve now decided to go with Druz144 GE engines and pylons, which I will order in February. Sergey does truly beautiful work, and his engines (which include the correct, slanted inboard strakes, something completely missing o the Zvezda kit), will be a real nice addition to this effort. Out2gtcha
Those look terrific K2! So far so good..... I've got a 1/144the triple 7 in the stash to get to. I've never done an airliner before so will likely need threads like this one to help me along. LSP_Kevin and LSP_K2

Those engines are really slick. Decals for the pylon panel breaks are an innovation for sure. That said, the engines that come with Zvezda airliner kits are definitely better than the average. I would love to be able to get this kind of AM product for old Minicraft airliner kits… LSP_K2
Out2gtcha
My triple 7 kit is the Revell kit. I'm assuming that the Zvezda offering is not the same plastic?

Out2gtcha
Thanks Kev! Once I procure another job, I think I'll definitely get a set of those! LSP_K2

I think they are the same plastic, but would have to double-check. Revell has re-boxed a few Zvezda kits in the past. LSP_K2
And primer finally on. Better in some respects than I had hoped, in other ways, not so much. chaos07, denders, Alex and 8 others
LSP_K2
Getting closer. The bottom seams, which I had thought to be near flawless, are really not, as the primer reveals. I'm guessing that one or possibly two more treatments will get me where I need to be though. Alex, LSP_Ray, Derek B and 7 others
