Aviacom
Simple question really, Is there a 1/32 kit of the Brewster Buffalo available? Any aftermarket available for a kit? Cheers

Now i'm going to hunt one out and buy it, there is just something about this aircraft that does it for me!? And I don't even know what that could be, it just does. LSP_Mike
Oddly, I've thought of one also, just to do a Yellow wings scheme.
Rick Griewski
Well… eBay prices are goofy right now for the early variant.
Bill M.
There was also an F2A-3 variant as appeared at the Battle of Midway. I have one in my stash, waiting to be built. Looks like it has the makings of a most adequate build. Bill M.

He pointed out that the F2A-3 kit was not a Specisl Hobby kit but was derived from the Special Hobby kits. It was put out by Czech Models through Squadron. probably not appropriate for a yellow wing option, but would be what you want for an early war USN/ USMC version. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/czech-model-3201-brewster-f2a-3-buffalo--931257
Jaro
Some time ago on a french modellers forum there was a very comprehensive 1:32 F2A-1 built report (incarnation by Azur): http://fighters.forumactif.com/t88876-annee-azur-brewster-f2a-1-buffalo-special-hobby-132 Possibly some pictures may be already missing but I can remember the comments and pictures were very handy. jwest21
I built the Finnish boxing. Fit wasn't too bad, I did some scratch work in the cockpit as the details there are fairly basic. The landing gear is a little fragile, FYI. The one thing I didn't like were the wheels. I know the Buffalo had simple hubs but the kit wheels look like cheap toy wheels. Sadly, there is no aftermarket wheels for them Edited December 5, 2022 by jwest21 Rick Griewski
