Not sure why the part count varies that much...I don't remember the figure being 45 pieces.
-
The first release had a figure included. Other than that, Volks said the only difference was the markings.

Off the top of my head, the canopy parts aren't shaped correctly and the radiator cover is misshapen. The fuselage is a couple mm too long. Fit is good.
-
The problem there is I would need to order the material, so eyeballing doesn't work.
-
So what are the dimensions for US lights?

No, not that kind of light. I mean replicas of the map lights that are in most WWII cockpits. I don't need them to work, just to add to a build. I can probably scratch one, but I wanted to see if there was a better detailed option.

Does anyone make cockpit lights for US WWII cockpits? Thanks

When the eets TBDs were repainted from aluminum laquer to light gray/blue gray, woukd there have been a primer voat of yellow zc or another color? Thinking ahead to the chipping on the exterior of the trumpeter kit I am working on

Thanks! Everytime i think im ready to paint, i find something to correct or scratch.

I have Dana Bell's walkaround. I was looking at the pics of the pilots side consols and its hsrd to tell but to.me, it looks like trumpeter did them wrong. Trumpers kits have solid plastic on the sides of the right and left consol but pics seem to indicate that the side consols do not have verticle walls either side of the seat. I attached a pic. The red area is what I think needs to be removed but want some options before i cut

About those Cyber hobby Bf109E wheel wells
jwest21 replied to John Stambaugh's topic in LSP Discussion
Maybe not. When I test fitted them.on my build, i was using the kit detail for the roof of the wheel well. If the Aires PE fits the resin part like a lid, it may work although the well might be a mm or 2 shallower than if you used the kit parts. Im going to dig it out later and look -

jwest21 replied to John Stambaugh's topic in LSP Discussion
Circumference wise, they fit nice. When I tried to fit them to my E-7 there was a gap between the underside of the top of the wing and the top of the Aires part. I'll have to look again- maybe I missed something.
