Nice work on all the cutting and fitting. Going to be a great display piece when your done!

I hadn't realised just how big this plane is!

AM cockpits are odd stuff. When doing a build, a well finished cockpit seems to be vitally important. On a finished 'plane it's rarely the cockpit that is the interesting part. I've sneaked a few bits onto the sidewalls to break the plain surfaces, otherwise I think the top of the ejector seat is far more important

If I can get the 'fitting the gun pod' thing right, I doubt the cockpit will be the focus of interest

It is truly a conundrum peculiar to aircraft modelling, hours spent on a pit that is later ignored, I tend not to get to worried about wheel wells for the same reason . Perhaps I am just less dedicated .

One of the odd things I like about doing armoured cars and soft skins over "tanks" is the fact they have an "on view" interior .

The challenge here is to not go totally overboard:

Love it!  Really looks good so far.

"The challenge here is to not go totally overboard"........he said as he placed his unfinished model on perfectly scale miniature sawhorses.

Ssshhh, I'm trying desperately hard not to google 'fuselage trestle'.

Those trestles have supported several WWI biplanes, they're not quite right for a Hunter
