Hi guys.

I bought this 2 days ago.

I just ordered this decal sheet.

I am no phantom expert, so don't really know what to buy regarding choice of wheels, jet exhaust etc. I had a look on BNA's website and saw Phantom II wheels that didn't have the E option. For example,  Aires F-4B/C/N Phantom II exhaust nozzles.

I don't want to go too bonkers on AM, but some wheels, photo etch ip and seats would be nice.

Thanks. :)

  • LSP_K2 changed the title to Suggest AM for Tamiya F-4E

The wheels are the same as the other AF versions C/D/E/G, and there are a number of options out there.  For exhausts, the E/F/G/J/S all use the same exhaust.  The kit exhausts are undersized, but many of the aftermarket exhausts are too.  Aires is undersized and people have said the the Eduard exhausts are also.  The Serria Hotel exhausts are correct, but are probably unobtanium.  The GT Resin exhausts may work.

There's no sign of the exhausts at GT.

No luck with Serria hotel.

I have added Master models long nose version pito.

If you do one thing get correct sized exhausts.

Unlike a lot of mods when parked next to an unmodded kit it looks far beefier and the base kit looks quite anaemic by comparison.

Quite impressed by how a couple of mm changed just how bulky the rear end looks now.

If i add one thing to a Tamiya F-4 now its always correctly sized exhausts.
