Stokey Pete
I shall be following this with great interest. In particular, when you begin to tackle the digital camo’. I’ve got the Ukraine AF digital ‘Flanker’ to attempt at some point in the near future. Uncarina
Uncarina
Those are some spectacular markings as well! Thanks for following along. I am looking forward to the paint stage. Cheers, Tom
Uncarina
I sanded and blended the dorsal profile for one of the engines, using a Dremel and Tamiya White putty. Hopefully the photos convey some of the shape differences; the left engine has a much lower and blended profile. I am pretty pleased with the improvement. Now I have to restore the detail--fun and not-fun at the same time! alain11
hi wow !!! that looks ..." drastic " especially view in profile ,from what did you refer to get this profile ??? last question , does it remain some plastic after such sanding .... I have the kit waiting in a corner of my mind , "Madmax" already showed us the way , but it's interesting to see yours Alain
Uncarina
Alain, Thank you! I just eyeballed it until what I had matched photos and Sean’s build. When I removed the plastic I looked for the translucence that Sean had, then sanded overall to shape. Once I finish scribing I will have to be more precise with the right engine, so I plan to take profiles from the left engine to use as a guide. Uncarina
Thanks very much for the compliment and your encouragement! I’m halfway through what I predict is the hardest part of the build, so hopefully smooth going after that. Cheers, Tom Martinnfb

Uncarina
Thank you Brian! It’s a lot easier when someone has made these modifications before, and I just wanted to get the hard parts out of the way. Cheers, Tom Martinnfb
