Dany Boy
I am waiting for one of the Soviets Volksjäger successors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw2MRf-73y0&feature=youtu.be As you can see one of the pilots is wearing early model of Luftwaffe LKp N101 Flying Helmet. Soviets manufactured all of the Luftwaffe leather flying helmets and the only different since I know were the lining. Germans used sheep’s wool and Russians used dog coat. LSP_Mike
dog fur? Now I wonder what breed of dog? I already ruled out Chihuahua, Pomeranian, and llasa apso...prolly no shi tzu either.
Dany Boy
I guess dog fur was better material rather than the sheep one, because Russians didn’t have problems with sheep’s leather supplies.
