mpk
Hey Harvey, thanks my friend. The gold decal over the grill....used a softener and when it was almost dry, went in with a drill about the same diameter as the slots are wide, using the chuck end pressed the decal into place, but you can't go in when the decal is too soft or you'll distort it,,have to wait until it's almost dry but still a bit pliable..and work it quickly..then we filled the slots with Tamiya smoke mixed with a mixture of water and a bit of dish detergent to break the tension...it capilitates into place nicely. More to come.Cheer's William. Firstly, the above is great information. Secondly, I ran out of "likes" Thirdly. How'd I miss this incredible thread full of astounding work??? Well done indeed. williamj

Stefano
Hi William! Would you please consider resuming your outstanding series of Yellow Wings? Your thread is awesome, yet incomplete! Those wings depicted in the first pictures cry for your modeling care. Please give these beauties the treatment they deserve! Get them done and share their pics! For the sake and greed of us humble lurkers! Thanks in advance and happy modeling, Stefano williamj
williamj
Thanks Stefano, nice of you to say....I do have another(pic) that I might add to this series.Been wanting to get at it for a while now. Unfortunately the BF2C-1 was donated to a friend who wanted it..but the SBU-1 will be a great replacement. I promise I'll post as soon as we get into it. Cheers. Bill.
