The USAAF 4th Fighter group has always been a personal favourite of mine ever since I read the history of the unit when I was like 14 years old. Got to think about that one. Dave. Apart from excellent workmanship - it might be your 3rd plane, but I suspect it's far from your 3rd model - I really like the restrained weathering and wear, and the Ki-61 is such a pretty plane, especially in Kobayashi's colors Been thinking about doing another Ki-61 and this has really fueled that fire...
