See the 'On This Day' at the top of thispage Dave was a good friend to me when I started back in plastic modelling again. Wherever you are now Dave.....blue skies. You'll be missed. He helped me out seveal times while researching projects over the last few years. Although I stressed my pragmatism earlier I don't want anyone to think I would go quietly---no one who knows me would imagine THAT Hahaha. But, yes---- I sort of hope that I might be one of those that are 'still here' years longer than the prognosis----but as that smacks a bit of that 'wishful thinking' I so deprecate normally as a world view, I just don't know how to square such a circle. But in the final analysis it doesn't matter----what will happen, WILL happen. Commonsense attitude to the end I HOPE guys. Am VERY touched by all your genuine caring thoughts. This is a GREAT forum, even though I went off in a bit of a huff with some of the mods. ----BUT never any of the guys -- but all water under several bridges now, and I very much doubt I was the first, nor will be the last.
