ChrisS
This was my first year to the Planes of Fame airshow...and it won't be my last. I've been to the Museum 4 or 5 times, but never the flying display. Anyone who has any reason at all to go to California ever, MUST see this show. Its simply the best annual display of WWII flying aircraft in the states...awesome. Here are some shots in no particular order, I took a 24-shot walkaround of this beauty... I'll send that into Kevin for the walkaround section. Little artsy shot of the allison-stang reflected in the tower glass. Thought it was cool. Enjoy~

Out2gtcha
Maybe we can set up an LSP meet next year...? That would be cool..... We could always meet here in the middle of the US in August of 2011 for the US Nationals. They will be held about a mile from my house here in NE. Theme will be "Omaha by the Sea - Celebrating 100 Years of Naval Aviation". Not Chino however, which this show is still on my list FOR SURE. Just thinkin out loud.... LSP_K2
I’m very glad I revisited this thread Chris; the Blue Max Dr.I restoration story is pretty cool. Ole
Chino is such a cool place!! Went there about 5 years ago for a small show. On the East Coast, check out the Fighter Factory in VA Beach if you're ever in the area. Thanks for sharing!
