vvwse4
Didn't feel like typing so just made the kit. It is the Trumpeteer F4F-3 Wildcat early version. The one I made is a USMC VMF111 Wildcat in the Louisiana manouvres of 1941. This plane was in the red army. No decals, everything homemade masks and airbrush. Hope you like it. Rick. jeroenpeters
Hi Rick, You're quick! How long did this kit take you? Really like the original scheme! Sooooo... what's next? Cheers, Jeroen
vvwse4
Hi Rick,You're quick! How long did this kit take you? Really like the original scheme! Sooooo... what's next? Cheers, Jeroen It took me 10 days, but remember I was frozen out so I couldn't work. Plenty of time on my hands and I wanted to make a quick build for a change. Normally builds take forever. Next...hmmm I think it will be Mustang time for me!! Thanks Rick.

Sabre F-86
A sweet job of one of my earliest favourites. When I was about 8, I got a book for christmas called "they flew to fame" (which i still have btw). From that I developed a love affair with my first two aircraft. One was Von Richthofen's DR-1, and the second was Joe Foss' Wildcat. A great job on this one, thanks for posting it. Sabre
