  2. The little Ohka is done. Pics here: http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/4228-hph-models-kugisho-ohka-model-11/
  3. Further progress on this model can be found here: http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/4068-132-hph-models-ohka-model-11/page-3
  4. Cheers Matt! I cut into the nose with a scalpel and sanded the hard edges smooth with a soft and fine MDC sanding pad. Started work on painting the pilot figure.
  5. Also adding some dinges and dents to the nose-cone, since that is what i see in my reference pictures...
  6. Here's the dolly, all painted up and weathered:
  7. Like so: http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/1510-132-rocket-science-me-163-meng/page-3
  8. I used the old Eduard cockpit designed for the Hasegawa kit, but it fits the Meng one fine.
  9. Hi Mark, I found the base on a recent model show for a mere 12 euro's. Whenever i see a nice wooden base i never hesitate to buy it. Working on blending in the canopy now. Some mr. Surfacer, light sanding and it should be fine.
  10. Update! Added lots of leadshot to the nose: And described all the lost panel lines and rivets from sanding:
  11. Hi Mark, I use Cinema4D. For 3D printing i use Shapeways.com. Cheers! Jeroen
  12. Also working on a 3d printed charge that was fitted in the nose: Here's the first render: I found a drawing with measurements. Pretty convenient:
  13. Hi all, While looking for reference material for this build, I noticed a sheer lack of 1/32 Ohka builds out here! One or two Lone Star builds, but no HPH model 11 builds, or Radu Model 22 builds. I already finished the companion Reichenberg from this kit: http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/3464-fi103-reichenberg-132-hph-resin-kit/ which is great in detail and accuracy, as is this Ohka from what I can find out. If you want to find out more about these kits, here's my review: http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/2553-132-fi-103-reichenberg-re-4a-and-kugisho-ohka-model-11/?hl=ohka So here's where I'm at:
  14. Hi All, Finally finished the cookie monster! Basically a test shot that misses the fabric patches surface details and didn't include decals. I used Mal's perfect masks for the codes, roundels and No Step indications and also the ProfiModeller stencil decals. These include some typo's and are huge in numbers, but they definitely add some life to the otherwise dull surface of the wooden wonder. I took my time with the weathering part. Using a grey sharp colour pencil for scratches and a silver Prisma pencil for the scratches on aluminium parts, like the cowlings. Overall I'm pleased with the result and love the sleek lines of this machine. At the time I started this kit little after market was available, so limited to the HGW sutton harnesses and ProfiModeller Pitot tube. Ah! And almost forgot. I used Airscale decals for the instrument panel. Cheers! Next!
  15. Just some imaginary free hand airbrushing. Very diluted Black/brown Gunze paint
  16. Cheers guys! Sprayed a matt coat and am adding scratches. Grey scratches on wooden areas (these were covered in several layers of paint) and silver (on metal areas). Taking off masks with a wooden pick now..
  17. Hi Thor, Achieving a convincing finish is worth more to me than the sloping degree of a nacelle. When it's done it should have the right characteristics, stance and feel. Here's where I'm at. Adding tons of little ProfiModeller decals, washes, etc...
