dodgem37
This is wonderful, Harvey. The windshield really is very nice. Maybe you can use Sharpie pens to color the 'mat ' and tape. Maybe black, since it's for radar ops. Just a guess. Sincerely, Mark
JRutman
It looks to me like it was just a piece of canvas and so probably olive drab. J

JRutman
 Good one! Jerry, I think I would go with that. Makes alot of sense. What color would the tape most likely be? Black?......Harv Been a while since I looked at the pic. If the color of the cloth in the black and white pic looks a certain way in black and white then judge what color the tape would be in contrast to the cloth? Best guess, J

PhilB
Lovely work on that cockpit Harv! Its really coming together now. I didn't know about these P38's. Feel sorry for the poor guy in the back. I would think the Doc's on those squadrons had to have extra supplies of pile ointment! Phil
shark64
Thats quite different from any P.38 I have ever seen. Very cool. I love the work done so far. OLiver

Loic
I think it looks good BUT... I can help myself thinking this must have been one of the most unconfortable place to fly ever! Keep it up! Cheers, Loic
PhilB
I like it, but would like to know if this is better. Let me know what you all think I think it looks like a piece of blanket held down with duck tape. Job done Harv, its perfect. Phil
JRutman
Well, what I think is that if the object of model building is to capture the look of something real but in scale, then you have succeeded. Good on ya! J
