What ever happened with TAN MODELS 1/32 SU-33?

I have been wondering what has happened with the above mentioned manufacturer and said kit?  

They were already cutting metal back in 2017…

Long dead, I suspect. As far as I know, they only ever produced the CAD, and never got to the metal stage.

They started cutting metal for the wings, then Baris Tansoy had heart problems and several aviation projects got shelved.

I still hope they might sell the CAD to e.g. Trumpeter.

Interesting, I hope Baris is ok? 

There are photos circulating on the net with molds already cut using laser engraving for the finer details - looked like wings. 

Would be nice to see this big bird come to market!

As big as it would be, I would have loved a 1/32 Su-33. 

 

I ended up going with the Minibase 1/48 kit instead. An incredible kit in its own right.

Got its predecessor the Kinetic kit myself, and it's arguably big enough. 

However, I would jump at a new tool 1:32 Su-33 too.
