  1. It was a unique producer...Have a Cat in my stash still. And just saw on eBay (Germany) a B-52H 1/48 for sale: 1999 EUR....https://www.ebay.de/itm/135973817240?_skw=b-52h&itmmeta=01JYF78S38TBKFNMNE056C292F&hash=item1fa8abcb98:g:3VIAAOSwnVdoSYlC&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA4FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1ePebXERvKlE%2F2dGqlcCQCZHXPXWfukPztCsiCRNFpS5OSnSYhJ98Z6pIXu%2Fc5uJJYERjrukVbZ%2Fn4c53pMgLf3OxbBW9ZroOvQ9pyVA%2FMdalW7396xiDHZubUZ6xkbQLCSn3sq%2FjjnSBgKAU%2FQfwV%2F17P9Lo%2FbJ2AsQ%2Bpus39YReU20Vmq9myZ0NkbzEzRfvRFTZpgfHBTMibw7L5ljJtYy%2FcIEuqPxzzHRuu6vH4TPQGRKpDGghVB86BFJuZuWqGu171owpws7Iv2ZRvdS7%2FE|tkp%3ABk9SR-aRo-fzZQ
  2. The whole front design was botched by Trumpeter and Zactoman corrected it from a to z. So, yes, it would be unfortunate if Reskit missed the radome, which is part of the 'face' )profile of this jet.
  3. That is a good point. That makes his set unique. Not sure whether Reskit is considering the same.
  4. He put great craftsmanship in this set. I was fortunate enough to obtain one . The Rekit efforts show how badly designed and engineered the Trumpeter kit really is. The set will transform it completely, no doubt. Also the exhaust Reskit is designing is needed....basically the kit will become a USD 300+ affair I think. That said, hopefully the canopy will be of durable non UV-sensitive material...
  5. that conversion is worth a lot. I have 3 lying around. Yes, 4. So, that is a small fortune. You need decals to go with them and that was something that Zotz Decals (Eli Raphael) did...
  6. no doubt their production techniques have vastly improved so this 1-seater will be the best in the range.
  7. The Lancaster was of course a product of Sir Peter Jackson's team at Wingnut Wings...but that in 1/35?? Could be done. Whether they venture into 1/32 further, competition is perhaps too high? 1/35 now sets them apart in a way. No one is doing that scale as far as I can think of...
  8. Great review, attention to detail right down to the packaging. The price is high but what I now saw, probably worth it to add to the collection!
  9. Interesting. Was expecting the 2-seater.
  10. I am patiently following the shipping updates on my copies...
  11. over 600...unacceptable...then again, the Lancaster...of Border
  12. yes, looks a bit rudimentary. With the 3D tech it should be possible soon to get a datafile and print the kit parts yourself. (although a printer and the material to print is not El Cheapo...
  13. only Paul Fisher had some upgrade bits for the Hobbycraft kit and of course his own magnificent Sea Fury that one could prop up with folded wings, engine and so on... I suppose the aftermarket will pick this up for the DBMK kit once it arrives (Eduard, Aires etc.).
  14. sorry about that
  15. See their latest update. The kit is coming together nicely it seems. <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpermalink.php%3Fstory_fbid%3Dpfbid02L2C5boxS4r6xp5yHuU6KNL3eaEN1fNS9nkBj6SwViLEv2255iGtbSmvYHLadDGNzl%26id%3D100084846155184&show_text=true&width=500" width="500" height="683" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="true" allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share"></iframe>
