Nice looking models, John! Which technique did you use on the Il-2; salt or hairspray?

I use all paints, but as I find the best thinner for Tamiya paints is their laquer thinner, that is probably not good for you. I did want to mention that for brush painting the two best acrylics I have found are Vallejo and Games Workshop. The Games Workshop paints are thicker and more heavily pigmented with good coverage even with one coat even with white. I just thin with a bit of water or Tamiya acrylic thinner and it flows great off the brush. Great for details. Haven't tried airbrushing with it though.

Going to give it a go with this: You can see preview shots from our own site HERE. Going to try and do Galland's aircraft from the Spanish Civil War. I have been doing some research already and so far I don't think any of the profiles or decals are 100% correct for the Mickey Mouse logo on his aircraft. Will be making my own as their aren't any in 1/32nd anyway. Stay tuned!

I will either make them myself (ALPS), or with Ad Astra's help, or combo of the above. I was figuring on at least making 6 sets or more if I make them, to fill up a sheet.

Also might check out Ikea, too. They have some nice display cabinets for reasonable prices.
