  4. With the addition of another drawing Raph was able to collect, we have an update. Here the dimensions are clear, so it helps. Overall, the drawing doesn't fit exactly the other ones, but this might be introduced during the scanning, saving, copying process. Also, the resolution is not great on all of the images and that doesn't help either. But, the differences are very small, a few millimeters in full scale which make just a couple of tenths of millimeters in 1/32 scale. And it confirms the previous conclusion that the kit's rear fuselage seems to be a bit too long. Also as we have also a clear height dimension, it looks like the images are a bit squashed in height. But this makes only something like half a millimeter difference (in 1/32) in height of the fuselage in the center part just aft of the cabin. So here is the picture for another 1000 words: Juraj
  5. rafju, message, and the files sent. And yes, the dimension above shows something around 137mm on the drawings. So you are probably correct it's a bit too long. I'm curious how will the fuselage fit on the drawings overall. Juraj
  6. That's a pity. I have played with it today as well. I'd expect that on a 1/4 scale, the model would be an exact replica of the original. There would be probably some weight/center of gravity issues, but those could be solved internally. But I am no expert on that so... The fact is that the original drawings and the model plans don't fit when overlayed on top of each other: The two drawings from the expensive set fit, of course. This indicates that these are precise and would be helpful if we could read the numbers correctly: Unfortunately, the drawing from the auction doesn't fit these. So even though the dimensions given there might be correct, it doesn't help with the overall shape as the size of the nose and the rudder differs. So we are not closer to the right answer. Still, there is the possibility to ask those that have the original drawings for a help. HAC, for example. Raph, if you like the drawings I made, send me a PM. I can send it to you. You should be able to print them in 1/32 for testing. Juraj
  7. I'm not sure if this helps, but I've tried to find something. Among the drawings shown on the too expensive factory drawings page there's this picture: I'd say it says the fuselage frame's length is 7055mm. But it's not very clear, unfortunately. Then I found this old auction page: worthpoint.com/worthopedia/airplane-plans-blueprints-dvd-german The plans show 9670mm as the overall length of the airplane, which differs from other data. But it's hard to say how original this drawing is. And there are Paulo Severin's plans for the 1/4 model which look to be well-researched and precise: www.paoloseverin.it/Fieseler/ The fuselage: You can try to scale this down to 1/32 and compare it with the rest of the drawings and the model. And finally, I've found this nice article on Storch restoration by HAC: vintageaviationecho.com/hac-storch/ So maybe asking History Aircraft Collection for help would be an option too... Juraj
  8. Well, if there can be Short Sunderland, why not Short Wellington?

  10. More photos from me (LSP mostly, if not all of them): Enjoy! Juraj
  11. And here are my photos. They are just mobile quick snaps quality though. Sorry. But I think the quality of the models shows anyway. This should be the M-14 - Master 1/48 and bigger multiplane, propeller airplanes: Juraj
  12. More on Moson: EastModels team has prepared a few reports from the show. And galleries divided by categories: eastmodels.sk And here's their Best of Aircraft video: youtube.com - Mosonshow 2023 - Best of Aircraft I'll be back. Juraj
  13. The show was really great. The Modelling News has a nice report as well: themodellingnews.com I might add some pictures later myself. But I haven't got my big camera with me this time, just a mobile phone. Juraj
  14. There's a model for R-2800 (not sure if it's the version you need): fpwmodelshop.pl/pl/p/Pratt-Whitney-R-2800-Double-Wasp-Full I have seen it just yesterday in Moson, a model show. Polish company. Listed as sold out, but that may change, I guess. Or maybe they can print it on demand. And AirCorps Library has some manuals on both: aircorpslibrary.com/nav/engines Maybe there's something useful for you there. Juraj
  15. Excellent! Thanks for the detailed report. Juraj
  16. Wonderful, Peter! Do you take into account the thickness of the foil? I expect you are going to use it... Or is it negligible on this scale? Juraj
  17. AirCorps Library offers C-47 drawings and manuals: aircorpslibrary.com/nav/aircraft/c-47-top Juraj
