  1. I keep hoping for a new tool Typhoon with a detailed engine, especially the car-door version. It's one of the last planes that fascinated me in my youth that is still missing in my stash. Recently I finally added my first FW190 now ZM released theirs, also a plane from my youth. A Typhoon of comparable quality would be a dream come true.
  2. Great news, always loved the Viking. Hopefully it will be at the same level as their A-6, but even if it was as bad as their F-35 I would probably still buy it.
  3. If I recall correctly the horizontal and vertical tails are bigger. For sure the wings are completely different and the landing gear is more robust with double nose wheels.
  4. If Italeri does it they at least have to redesign both the top and bottom fuselage parts plus the canopy and perhaps the cockpit tub, and add a lot of extra parts, so that would basically make it a completely new model. I do hope somebody will produce a model of this version because it is just pretty amazing technology and it looks great.
  5. I think there's a lot more people like us too Can't wait to finally have a 190, hope it's available soon!
  6. I don't have any 190 kits yet because I've been waiting for a 'really' good and well detailed kit for years, since the existing kits seem 'pretty' good and not that detailed at best, so this one must be what I was waiting for! And I'll be buying the 109 also for the same reason, even though I own a few of the existing kits. Just because I really love these planes, especially the 190!
  7. I hope 1/32 will be the new trend for helos, so maybe one day we'll have a Hind in our favorite scale
  8. Just found out about this release, really great news! I would be tempted to buy every variant they come up with I think
  9. Amazing stuff, I wish I could do things like this
  10. Looking great and very realistic I didn't know about the wheel speed sensor in the nose gear, the planes I know only have sensors that measure the speed of the main wheels, interesting to know, thanks!
  11. What you see here is not the actual cable, but protective flexible tubing. The real wires run through this and in this case go to landing gear position switches like the weight on wheel switch, and also the landing/taxi lights and the nose wheel steering motor. Doesn't really matter for your result, just wanted to give some extra information as an aircraft technician.
  12. Interesting subject, the plane looks really good in these colors. And your paint job is amazing!
  13. Really nice, one of my favorite planes, and this one looks very good
  14. Wow, so much detail and it looks so realistic. Great skills! Where do you find the patience?
  15. They already did the P-61B before that has the R-2800 engine, and in this kit they have 18 cilinders, so way did they do it wrong now?
  16. Great work so far, that will look spectacular when finished!
  17. Incredible, what a great result! Wish I had the skills and patients for that
  18. Ok, just realized you have to paint them one by one of course. Now I see what you mean with keeping them clean, a lot of paint will build up on each plate. Good luck with that!
  19. Looking great! Can't you glue the lower ones together and leave only the text plate loose? Might save time and there's less change of misalignment.
  20. Looking great, metal of the aft fuselage looks really good too
  21. Looking great! Is it possible to show a picture from the front so the air intakes are visible? Haven't seen any images of them yet from this kit and I'm pretty curious about their shape and angle.
  22. Maybe most people got a bit underwhelmed after opening the box and not seeing the robust big beast you would expect but a petite little thing that didn't really feel like a mig-29, closed the box again and put it away. That's what happened to me at least. But I still hope my first impression was wrong and I'm waiting for a good review that focusses on accuracy by someone who's more of an expert then I am.
