Are you looking for a set of thunderbird decals ?
-
You can also get the small misshaps out using a small paint brush .

This is happen because you're future has dirt in it.happens to me a few times just use a coffee filter to screen it out but the best way to remove future is dish soap or 409 .

I must be in the minority. I've tried Gators Grip, R/C 56 and even MS foil glue for attaching canopies and especially windscreens with mixed luck. I have yet to find anything that works as well, or holds as strong as using capillary action to wick ultra thin CA in the panel line between the fuselage and windscreen. Of course it means you have to dip in Future or the like to keep the CA fumes away from the clear plastic, but worth it to me.
As to canopies I do use Gators and the like there sometimes as generally there is not as big of a need to have pressure on a canopy to keep it in place like there can be on windscreens. I think generally I like open canopies, so sometimes if the fit is good enough, I don't even glue them on for the ability to pose them open or closed.
I have always used tamiya glue .it works great and very controllable.

I never clamed to be a expert on the F-14 I just wanted to have a clean build but I'm also not a rivet counter
Awesome interpretation. My highest respect and congrats to that built!
It seems you were out to depict 159625, the second "incarnation" of VF-2's NK-201 in 1976 (after 158629, the first NK-201 of VF-2 during the 74/75 cruise, namely the second operational fleet Tomcat after 158627 that went to VF-1).
In such an early state you wouldn't see the reenforcement plate around the RIOs step though, but that is a detail only crazy F-14 nutts would even note.
Fantastic build. Can't believe you did the markings all via painting! You can really be proud of yourself.

This is my F-14A tomcat i started back in December and just now finished ,This has been a long process and i am happy to see it done .it has Aires Pit , wheel well and along with open and closed cans. I also added in Zactomodels intakes which were really nice and I enjoyed using them.On the exterior i used Eduards Photo etch .The Aim 9 Missiles are from a set of cutting edge that i had laying around waiting to be used ,The Aim 7 are from Eduards and the Aim 54 are from the kit.
The Marking are a set i created for my self using painting mask on my silhouette cutter . The stencils are from the kit

this is a good size kit and I think its a little bit out of my price range
-
you haft to paint them on there is no mask for them
For those who have built this kit, how did you paint the black exhaust "panels" on the sides? Is there a template for masking etc?
-

As far as price goes it just depends on How much art work needs to be created and how difficult the subject is the aircraft

They guy I did the B-52 tail for did not go on to detail who it was for and I did not ask I was only interested in making this man's order to his satisfaction
-
Wow! Interesting display! Ex-member?
I am not really sure a costumer asked my to make the lettering for him .He did not go in to a lot of detail what it was for he just gave my the size that he wanted every thing to be, all the lettering i was able to locate the fonts for them.

What material are you using for the mask?
Its called Oramask it is a vinyl film that goes on well and if you need to readjust it will come up easy .
My take on Revell FW190
