  7. Hey all, Since we've all been ordered to stay at home because of the virus, I thought I might as well start a WIP with my latest build, Hasegawa's 1/32nd P-47D Thunderbolt.I haven't done a WIP for years, so, hope I can keep this one going until the end. Anyway, here's where I'm up to,...I have riveted the fuselage and wings, started this years ago, so, hope it holds up alright under paint, and have prepared, painted and started to construct the MDC Cockpit set for it. Thats it for now, thanks for looking, Cheer's, Jeff.
  8. Beautiful work Mike! The ghost roundels are really effective. Cheer's, Jeff.

  10. Pete, the amount of detail and work you are putting into this one, anyone would think you flew these instead of Viper's!..lol!!....but these subjects just cry out for massive detail added.....and I know you've always had a big interest in Helo subjects. Awesome work! Cheer's, Jeff.

  13. Great work Steve! Cheer's, Jeff.
  14. Thanks a lot Jug!....since the kit ones aren't correct either, I might have to try and scratchbuild them,....if I cant, might just have to use the Quickboost one's and be done with it, because they look a lot better than the kit ones. Thanks again Jug! Cheer's, Jeff.
  15. Thanks Warbird, looks good! Cheer's, Jeff.
  16. Thanks a lot for the info Juggernut!....I do like to try and get as accurate as I can, so if I become aware of something thats not accurate, I will try and rectify it, if I dont know about it, then thats no problem too, but I do try and get as accurate as I can. So, is the engine in this pic got the right magneto/distributor set up?...with the middle section between them blanked off? The kit one looks to be incorrect as well for a P-47 D-25 through to D-40, is this correct? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to confirm which is the right one, its a little confusing to an engine dummy such as myself. Cheer's Jeff.
  17. That is so true Chris. Jeff.
  18. Thanks a lot for the info Sophie! Cheer's, Jeff.
  19. Hi all, Has anyone out there used the Quickboost engine on the Hasegawa P-47?..., just wondering if there is anything I have to look out for, and do you still have to do the corrective surgery to lower it so the cowl fits right. Any tips are much appreciated. Cheer's, Jeff.
  20. Jeez that is nice! Beautiful work. Cheer's, Jeff.
