I wished I had an old F-100 for sure. I did find one in driveable condition for 5 grande once. Just have no where for it and no money to do anything with it. 
Bravo on the Sherman and Hummer.

My cousin has a '56 F-100 big window sitting in storage, waiting to be re-built.....I love that truck!! If I had the cash, I would finish it for him, but I can't even finish my own car project.
 
Speaking of what we would buy if we had the cash, I've already warned my wife if I ever hit the jackpot, she'd better get her head around the idea that there will be an M4A1 Sherman tank in the driveway. Right next to the tricked out H1 Hummer.

I have to confess, when I was in my late teens, I developed a real passion for the '33 Willys, and it's never gone away. If I ever come into the cash, there'll be a tricked out '33 in my driveway,... guaranteed.

Well, I made the commitment to the conversion now with modifying kit parts. I started on the bomb bay doors. First up was filling the shell ejection ports for the original 20mm canon.
 

 

 

 
The doors on the XVIII are asymmetrical so I filled in the original centerline and rescribed the new one.
 

 
 I'll have to see what they look like under a coat of primer.

RB make a 1/35 6 pdr barrel. It'll be slightly smaller as a result but it's close enough for me.

Harv and I got talking about what would be involved using the Tamiya kit as a starting point and one thing led to another.  I haven't really tried this sort of thing, so hopefully it'll work out.  I do have to say I probably wouldn't have tried this without having watched and  learned some of these techniques from other members on here.

I think it's great that we have such variety of manufacturers to choose from. At least we can pay our money and take our choice.

As long as KH bring out its 1/48 RF-101C (inter alia) boxing soon I'll rest content. Saw the Voodoos fly and even wore the international orange flightsuit in 1969, when the 66th TRW was stationed at Upper Heyford, so it's quite special.
 
A Voodoo would be quite big in 1/32, even the way KH breaks assemblies down, but I'm guessing "box size" is a player in KH's commercial decisions. I'm bored by the thought of yet another Fw 190 but concede that, if it's a commercial performer, we may more likely get a Streak or even a Grumman Duck.
 
Happy for those that feel it a vital addition. I bought the Revell 190 NF variant and one's enough for me. As is Revell's 262 NF and 119 A-7.

Not a kit or subject I need but hope they sell a billion of them and they use the profits for other subjects that have never been done before in 1/32....

Bring on the 1/32 kits, I say!! I built a 1/32 190A a few years back, and will probably never build another, but if they want to do one, go for it!! 
 
Granted,  I'd have been a lot happier with and early P-38 or P-51B/C, but whatever!!

Bruce, can you show a photo of the real ones vs. the model versions? I personally have had no issues with Radu Brinzan's belts, but that doesn't mean I'm not incorrect.

Bill, Radu's belts, which agreed are superb and by far the best, are not HGW ones that Bruce is complaining about.

There was a double negative is your sentence Bill that could have gone either way (ahem!) so I wasn't sure about the exact point you were making!
 

Ah, my mistake. I thought he meant that NONE of the kit belts he'd seen were accurate.
 
I use Radu's stuff unless there isn't something I need (like Arado 196 lap belts). Then it's HGW. Sorry for any confusion, it has been a crazy week at work and I'm stealing time to hang out with you losers.

I remember the event several years ago when they had the original artist paint the B-25.

 

I thought it looked familiar, I have seen it flying in the 90’s but often wondered what became of it.  I hope they will fly it again soon.

Tic tock! I got the box I made for the two models I'm flying to Phoenix with measured at American Airlines, to make sure it conforms to their "personal item" size restriction.
