[Xmas wishes???]

If Trumpeter had used the A team and not rushed it the kit would be fine but as is it doesn't fit well , lots of mistakes and the cockpit is abysmal. Would love to see it by someone else in 1/32.

In looking at the number of unused parts in the Mosquito I would be very suprised if we don't get a NF version or a different mark.

Not really all the Tamiya Spits are late models which were far different from the early ones, They made a number of improvements to the engines and airframes, backdating one would be a major task. Revell has the Mk 1 and and brand new Mk II and you can get a really nice cockpit from eduard. Either of these would make a good BOB Spit.

[Eduard's fabric seat belts, what do y'all think?]

I've used HGW belts and HGW makes the belts for Eduard. For color I've found doing a filter over them works well. They absorb the color and look much more like real fabric.

True Earth makes a great dull coat that can be airbrushed or brushed on. Its also great for decaling.

A bit more progress, I didn't realize all the shortcuts Hasegawa made unitil I started this kit. Lots of work especally in the cockpit need to be made to bring a Hase Raiden up to snuff with this kit.

I thought about that but since I had the PE I didn't want to paint the whole cockpit a different color. Also supposedly many components such as the cockpit at least for the original were sent from Germany. The Sub they were on never made it but one can assume that they would have left the Grey. Anyway its a what if.
