Hi, totally unfamiliar with the "hawk" family issued by KH, but is it possible to use the Resque Hawk kit to convert it into a Coast Guard ship, just by using (any possibly available) appropriate decals concerning USCG helos ?? HTH, Jack....

Have fun building Lee, don't have 48 scale KH kits, but the ones i have on 32nd scale are alright and i'd be sure you'll get around any glitches you'd encounter, so go right ahead.....

Not my game either, but you'd be surprised how many non-32scale-LSP modellers will buy it, we are just a "minority" in the modelling world, no offence, but despite the fact that this modelling community has had the chance (and hopefully wil maintain in the future) to somehow influence the business, it still is the commerce in general that will have the final word in this..... Oh wait, but this scale could be a fantastic dio with a Kate and a Blackhawk helo in mortal combat............. Something like the "final countdown"............ J.

Hi, not being a Tomcat expert (by far) but i bought the Trumpeter F-14D Super Hornet a couple of years back, still in the stash (ofcourse dahh), and it has the 2015 inscription on the inside of the lower fuselage part, but i found the info on the metal inserts interesting, especially either it being the long or short metal insert being only one of the two provided in the trumpeter kit, but i checked the box and discovered metal inserts for the gear, and also two provided for the nose gear, long and short. Could this have been a "short" release on this kit before they changed the inserts into styrene ones? Just curious, J.

come to think of it, it was indeed a weird "sound" impression, don't know why they assumed it was a proper Sea/Black hawk sound.......

Now that is one gorgeous looking 51D, just like the real thing, and to me it brings back memories of one of my favorite old revell 72nd scale P51D Millie G kits i started this hobby with 60 years ago, glad i changed to 32nd scale interests right after that. Especially the first pictures are really life like, you could have fooled me!! thanks for sharing, Jack.
