  1. Agree with easixpedro... that view is breathtaking... I am in awe of your skills here...
  2. Looks great - I wonder why Eduard don't do more 1/32nd kits, I like them... The paint work looks great. I recently started using AK Real Colors as well, and man... do they lay down nice !!! However doing a RLM74/75 scheme I found the match to the real RLM to be not good - way too much contrast between the two... But your colors look great to my eye. My color-nazi friend says the AKRC are hit and miss with regards to color accuracy. Not something that matters a lot to me - it has to be bad if I can see it, but with the RLM74/75 I could...
  3. Stunning work !! I never noticed how huge the elevator was on that bird... and the ailerons pretty big, but the rudder is tiny - kinda fun
  4. That looks great. You really got me fired up with this. I had a thing I needed to do in Inventor, but now that it's done, I will proceed in 360 with my new project. What you do here really looks like it's much better than inventor... but it will require me to learn a new program, so let's see
  5. Literally rolling on the floor laughing !! 210% agree For what it's worth after that statement, I will not get the Border Lanc as I have the HK - and still wondering if it was stupid to get it... I love the plane, but man... the size of it !! I understand the price argument but I am fortunate to be in a place in life where space is more important than money. After reading the boredom argument I'm considering if it could be a problem - I have a 1/350 Warspite with a TON of photoetch and I'm finding it really hard to finish... could be?
  6. Looks like electrical connectors that hook into the launcher rail Good picture
  7. Lovely lovely work - excellent result ! And two fantastic kits
  8. Woooowwww that looks amazing !! Beautiful work ! Those things hanging out the back of the rockets - is that safety thingies or did they stay on when they took off? Never seen that before
  9. Ooooohh... my... god... that looks so great !!! Not generally a jet guy, but the Vigilante is soo beautiful - have a soft spot for that one. Surprised that it's not that much bigger than the Viking... If I understand you correctly you are a beginner on Fusion 360 - me too... can you point me to some good tutorials or something to help me along ?
  10. Uhh that looks fantastic. I have a project too where I plan to skin it with aluminium. I did a little testing with punching rivets into the plate, but found them to be a bit too deep and pointy. But looking at the spoon in my coffee cup I ran the curved side over the back of those pointy dips and that brought the centres of them up so it formed - on the front - a round circle with a centre up in line with the surface. I kinda like that
  11. Awwwww that's gorgeous !!! I really have a soft spot for that plane too - gotta get to the one in the stash...
  12. Yeah - great to see you back to this... has been checking up regularly to see if there were any progress as I dream of doing the same (one day )
  13. Ohhh so heart warming for a 109'o'holic !!! Looks fantastic... Are you going to skin it or use it for vacuforming ?
  14. That is sooooo impressive ! I wish I had read this before starting my F-104... I can see a couple of things that could have been much easier
  15. Fantastic result - looks very very fine. Those Griffon Spits really do look a lot more agressive I have a XIV conversion too - grey matter IIRC - but I'm not sure that I have the guts to apply it to a Tamiya spit...
  16. Seriously beautiful work - exterior and interior looks spot on. Cool detail with Glenn's personalization. The open area in the... uhm... nose, is that the parachute compartment ? Don't think I've seen that open in any pictures (although I'm not an expert)
  17. Beautiful work for sure !!! Lovely surface finish I'm actually building that kit now - how did you find it ? This is my first ZM kit and I am a bit surprised - from all of the talk I was expecting a Tamiya quality kit, but it's not. Not bad but not Tamiya for sure. I know these were the first ZM kits so perhaps the later ones were better.
  18. Lovely work !! Close, it's Zerstörer - "unlaut" over the o
  19. I guess more polite to speak english :-) Allright Niels - good for you. I would suggest to reach out to Århus Modelbygge klub and Danske Modelbyggere (mostly active on facebook). We do have a rather active crowd in Århus and it is very rewarding to be a part of. I dont much use AAMK any more - time and we've found a little crow that meet privately - but try it out. I am however part of the crowd that arrange AROS so I hope we'll see you there again (we have Østjysk open in Randers in april too, corona allowing)
  20. What ?? Havde ikke set Århus... Hvem er du sårn med normalt navn
  21. Gawd that is beautiful... Not a jet guy, but the Swedish jets are something special, and your model of it is fantastic !!
  22. Wow Kagemusha that is great stuff, I only found #3 where he's standing by the nose art... However they are clearly at different times and the stars have bars in some and one not. Anyway I'm going with the bars on. But on #2 the outline seems blue to me while #4 it does not and looks red to me ?? I would hate to repaint those nice red outline insignia's - they do look great Just noticed - the "D" is different from #2 to #4 so another repaint... that - to me - allows me to do the red outline (from #4)
