Cees Broere got a reaction from paul fisher in 1/32 Tamiya Mosquito (Merged)
I have held a measuring tape against my 1/1 Halifax cockpit many times, but nothing happened.
Then again, who wants a 1/32 Halifax......cockpit LOL.

man that looks sweet...
very nice job Cees - will you make a new canopy & blister as the kit ones are for a frighteningly early Mk1F & have extraneous framing? I sent some finished ones I did for my shelf of doom late mark Beau to Derek that he may not be using for his upgrade kit masters, they are likely too fragile for that - I could ping him a note to see if he can send them on if needed - just PM me
looking great & love this aeroplane

Time flies, it's been a while. I got distracted by some scratchbuild escapades, but lately I have been working
on this Beau-ty again. Last pic was taken this evening. Can gives scale. Next stop rescribing the fuselage,
had made a start but had to postpone some after fuselage assembly. The the tail will be fitted and finally
the wings. This is up to speed.

Well you can shake this kit as hard as you like, it just won't fit.
An update

Update,
I planned to do the whole fuselage as a lot can be seen, however the Mk X has a bulkhead which makes
live easier. Also pic of the decals, porcupine exhausts and vacform canopy.

Some basic scratchbuilding to respresent the interior structure. it needs more.

Some pics of the Hercules engines, and tail surfaces after a lot of sanding.
And the finished oil coolers with some paint and weathering on.

Nothing spectacular, but pogress nevertheless,
Did some experimenting on the collector ring using Miliput, this will make the inside less toylike and gives the
impression of a collective exhaust. Also the beginnings of the cockpit interior, the basis kit part is usable and
I had the blind flying panel left over from the ID Halifax, it is the rounded version while the Beau used the
square one, but once installed who will notice. Work is now concentrating on the oil cooler intakes and louvres.

Hi all, here's my PCM Tempest. As mentioned before it has some fit issues but
Nothing that can be solved. Apart from the wheels which I replaced with Barracuda
Items it was built out of the box. The kit provides a complete package with great
decals and photo-etch.
Hope you like it, I do.

I agree thought it would need some brand new AM engines me think....
It is not that I think HKM engines are not good enough, I haven't even seen them but I am still waiting for someone to post an on line build of our own GMF DB603
I also would love to have test shot of the fuselage to check/update if my night-fighter rear pit would fit in

"someone" is me
and no, you are wrong
they mixed up the different A-stands so you have two which are the wrong shape / have incorrect framing
it still 'looks like a He111' in this area, but the detail / shape IS clearly wrong
I wrote an extensive review of the H-6 kit here:
http://scaleplasticandrail.com/kaboom/index.php/all-things-aviation/132-135-scale/132-kit-reviews/1867-1-32-heinkel-he111-h-6-from-revell
in that review i specifically cover where Revell went wrong
no amount of polishing is going to rectify the problem with their A-stands
i'll let you get back to trashing the Revell Spit now
