  1. Fabulous build Kyrre. That BMF is superb. Very well done and thanks for sharing your model. Cheers.
  2. Hello Phoenixs and welcome to LSP. Your Typhoon is a grand introduction, well done. The additional resin really sets your model apart. The paintwork is splendid. Very good job. Cheers.
  3. That paintwork shows alot of depth. Nice job.
  4. Nice work Eric. That shot of the whole lot assembled looks lovely. This is a super subject and you are doing a cracking job. Keep at it.
  5. Bravo Takezo. That is very skillful weathering. (Your town also holds a very good motor race. ) Thank you for sharing these super models. Cheers.
  6. Just seen your note Bob, thanks for the heads-up. Don't know if it's just my computer but I could n't get many of the images on the MDC site to enlarge.......
  7. Thanks Dave. All corrected now.
  8. Yegads that looks good! In a couple of those close-ups of the undersides of the wings I'd swear I was looking at real weathered linen. You must be very happy with how things are going Brian? I can happily say that watching all of these stringbag builds here on LSP is an absolute treat and extremely addictive. Keep at it man, it's looking very cool.
  9. Neat and tidy work on the ancillaries. They're sure to look busy inside the open fuselage. Good stuff. Yep, that's the general idea...... So, are you planning to make it more visible within the structure?
  10. Hello Harvy5, your knowledge of the real aircraft should help alot. The modelling is very good so please keep us up to date on your progress, thank you.
  11. Hello Zero77, very brave work to detach the flaps and re-configure them. The new version still looks excellent, well done.
  12. Hi Oliver, the work you're doing looks good on my monitor. I can see a couple of brass fittings on your model so I guess you are already aware of http://www.scalehardware.com/ ? I think Pete Fleischmann first showed me these. http://www.vectorcut.com/GenericParts.htm also have a selection of tiny nuts that could be threaded over wire or plastic extrusion to represent fittings. (scroll down the page a little) Have I mentioned these before......I'm having deja vu ...apologies if I have
  13. That's a cool technique Kev, thanks for sharing. It looks very convincing. Now I need somewhere to apply it.....
  14. Well,......the quick answer is no but I guess you don't want to hear that rohan.......?
  15. Hi Steve, Production Eagles have a *30mm 20mm rotary gun in the starboard wing root. HTH Edit: Correction to calibre.....thanks Dave. * It should be 30mm, that would be even more awesomer
  16. Speedy work Gunpowder {~inserts "Billy Whizz" emoticon~} The pilot looks great. Nice job. I'm interested in how the GR-3 nose fits on this kit? Your last photo appears to show the complete GR-1 style nose already attached. Does the larger GR-3 cone slip over the original? Cheers.
  17. Time to enjoy a nice, relaxing build Karl, you've earnt it
  18. Ah,...happy days! I remember building the GR1 as a lad. Have fun Gunpowder and keep us posted.
  19. Hi Ralph and a Happy New Year. Your builds invariably leave me open mouthed and gasping and this is no exception. Your flawless paintwork is hard to fault. Marvellous stuff, keep it up.
  20. Hi Don, Thanks for sharing this project and showing such great close-ups. This along with other smashing builds on this site will make a good reference for others who build Spitties. A quick question,.......do you plan on adding any wear to the cockpit or do you prefer a clean/pristine office?
  21. Hello KallistiUK, welcome to LSP and a very Happy New Year to you. This project makes for fascinating reading and a fitting tribute to your late father. You are doing some fabulous modelling already so keep it up. The scratch-built internals look great and the resin conversion is blending in well. I take my hat off to you for tackling a somewhat daunting task with aplomb.
  22. Nice choice of project Mark. I look forward to seeing how this one turns out.
