Gazzas
Hi All, Been wondering about this one for a while. Anyone know? I'm thinking it's an FW190A1, so maybe Channel Coast. Thanks your thoughts, Gaz phasephantomphixer
holzemjo
Is that Atlas who dropped the earth from his shoulders on the cowling or just some random dude with a ball? phasephantomphixer and Gazzas

D Bellis
Here you go: http://www.luftwaffe.cz/kosse.html Is that Atlas who dropped the earth from his shoulders on the cowling or just some random dude with a ball? The artwork is actually a monkey in a Brit hat getting cut in his behind by a saw blade. HTH, D Mark M, kkarlsen, Gazzas and 2 others

holzemjo
Ah, Now that is helpful. Gaz I'm sorry I couldn't be more useful :/ Glad, someone else figured it out, though! Guess I assumed a little too much philosophical depth in the artwork... Gazzas
I really considered a number of possibilities. Only recently did the proportions strike me as somewhat ape-ish. But the British hat was invisible to my eyes until it was pointed out. And I had thought perhaps the symbol was one single color. But now I'm glad to see what it was. I now have an excuse to build an FW190. Who makes the best 1/32 A4? Thanks, Gaz phasephantomphixer
aslakh
I am curious about the mind that came up with the nose art...
thierry laurent
The only early Fw-190 in 1/32 scale is the PCM one. Thierry phasephantomphixer
wunwinglow
Oh, I think most nose art artists have pretty vivid imaginations.... phasephantomphixer
CATCplSlade
We had lunch together a few years ago, but we haven't been in contact since. phasephantomphixer
D Bellis
Who makes the best 1/32 A4? Montex makes a nice, no-cut conversion set for the Hasegawa '190 kits with full fuselage halves. D phasephantomphixer and Gazzas
