jpchagnon
Did I hear a rumor about a 1/24 Hawker Sea Fury been made by Airfix ? Or was it a dream, an hope or a wish. Please, Airfix make it true, but without all the equipment not visible when every thing is closed preserving the beauty of this nice plane. jpchagnon
But keep a nice, super detailed cockpit. and if you wish, you can provide the equipment mentioned above as a supplement in an another package (kit). I'm highly disappointed by companies selling me at rather high price, unuseful parts I don't need. Harold
Jim Barry
That would be cool.
phantomdriver
The only one they have coming, is in 1/48.............
R Palimaka
They have to do them in order. They did the Hurricane first, now the Typhoon. Airfix must release a Tempest V next, it's only right. Then the Sea Fury. All kidding aside I would love to see a 1/24 Sea Fury, but I think it was just hopeful talk amongst modellers.

Juggernut
Didn't Trumpeter do a Hurricane in 1/24 or are my mind altering drugs in full effect?
LSP_K2
Didn't Trumpeter do a Hurricane in 1/24 or are my mind altering drugs in full effect? Yes, they did/do a couple of different iterations.
1to1scale
I saw a video of the Telford show and they had a Sea Fury on the Airfix new kits table that was the size of their 1/72 bomber. It looked to be 1/24 scale, but they did not talk about it in the video.
scimitarf1
I would not be surprised if this came out. They have done the canopy already, after all, on the Typhoon kit â˜ºï¸ R Palimaka
R Palimaka
Lol!! That's true, all they have to do is design everything underneath and around that canopy. Edited November 20, 2017 by R Palimaka phasephantomphixer
GrahamF
They might have the canopy, well not quite the fuselage profile is different, but they have nearly half the Tempest in CAD. It would be nuts to do the Sea Fury next when it would be less of a hop once the Tempest is done. Then next would be the 'Tempest lightweight fighter'. R Palimaka
A 1/24 Tempest V would be wonderful! Who knows? No one expected the Typhoon from Airfix. phasephantomphixer
1to1scale
here is a screen capture from the video. This thing is huge compared to the bombers.
R Palimaka
That's the 1/48 kit. It is large compared to the 1/72 scale kits to its right, but a 1/24 Sea Fury kit would be twice that size.
