T-28B Kitty Hawk Models

Recommended Posts

After Ernie´s excellent build, I finally finished my T-28B. I decided for the B version just because I happened to have the most reference pictures for. First I thought about a SEA camo D version, but I needed more more pictures of the cockpit. And since "Detail and Scale" had some very nice pictures....well, here is my "B". Paints used: Alclad black and white primer, Tamiya XF-2, MrColor #3. Also Valleyo Model Air. For weathering and stain (oil paints, Ushi von der Rosten metallic powders). And Alclad Aluminium. For the sun screen tamiya clear green.

Wow Dirk, very nice looking Trojan you got there.

I really like those helmets in the cockpit, they add a real extra dimension to the model. :goodjob:  :goodjob:
