AD-3 Marine VMA 121 Skyraider, Pohang Airfield, Korea 1952

Recommended Posts

Here is my first in many way, my first post of a finish model and my first prop...and got 2sd place at Ajax last year.

An out of the box construction and a very easy one, did it with Model Master paint and Tamiya clear can.

The decal are from Flying Leatherneck, very thin and went very well, for the wash I used a Flory Model's mix of 50/50 dark dirt and white, also Vallejo pigment and AK fuel and engine oil stain.

I was about to start another Mud mover for the Vietnam group build but will most probably go with an F-4J Barbecue style

Hope you like it, will post other plane I did shortly, now that I know how to.

Dan.

Freakin' sweet Dan!

You know, I catch a lot of crap for not finishing kits that I start. However, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing something I created on someone else's completed model. The images above are what makes this all worth it.

Thank you!

You got that right John,

The scary parts it's when you lighten your panel ounce on the clear before decals, you always think that was too much until at last you put your flat coat....
