You could well become the Alclad God you know!!

I don't think there's any chance of that happening, I have a lot to learn yet!

Finally some updated pics- markings are on and a clear coat over them means that weathering can now commence! I really wish now I had remembered (doh!) to remove the small scoop on the lower left side of the nose before painting- in retrospect I really should have at least tried before putting the decal on. But, I realized it a bit too late so I will chalk that up to not paying close enough attention. After at least 10-15 applications of -sol, I was able to get almost all of the wrinkles out and now it looks pretty good. Not perfect, but I can live with it. More pics soon!

Frank Great work on the Mustang        I built Col. Glenn Eagleston's P-47 and P-51 in 1/48th for Col. Glenn Eaglestons's step son.   But they didn't come close to your class work

Cheers

Danny

Thank you Danny, much appreciated!  I have the Hasegawa P-47D with the Colonel's markings to do one day, figure they would look good next to the P-51.  Thanks again!

That is a GREAT looking Mustang Frank. VERY nicely done. And I have always liked Eagleston's markings. :)

Thank you John!  Really hoping to get stuck into another Mustang soon, these other commitments are keeping from the kits I want to build!

Frank don't forget the F-86A he flew in Korea (the forgotten war)

Thanks for the head's up!  Not sure I am familiar with that one, but am going to look it up now.  Oh, what I wouldn't give for a good new tool F-86A!

Vandy I didn't know that ..gosh I learn something new every time I come here

Me too!
