Is the Revell George worth much and is it a good kit?

Simply because the Hasegawa and Revell kits are models of quite different planes! The Revell kit is the early mid-wing version whereas Hasegawa released the later low-wing one.

Ahhh ...OK. Well, for what's in the box and intending to only build one, the later version suits me just fine!

Mid-wing "George" = N1K1 Shiden

Low-wing "George" = N1K2 Shiden-Kai (modified Shiden)

Essentially two different aircraft as was previously mentioned with the same pedigree.

A bit like the P-43 Lancer and P-47  Thunderbolt are the same really. Easy mistake to make. (tongue in cheek0

I guess my question always is, "How good does it have to be?"  I built my Revell George and a Revell/ Combat vac Rex (along with the old Swallow low wing George) and I'm happy to have them on my shelf.  But, I am not a rivet counter nor super detailer.  I build basic kits as a form of recreation and relaxation.

The kit looks like this,
