Rob Colvin
RoG Eurofighter I seem to recall someone did the extra pylons and some other parts for the eurofighter.....Who was it are they still available? Does anyone know how the Aires engines and cockpit fit? thanks! Marcel111
Stokey Pete
If I recall, the cockpit tub fits quite well, but as always, requires lots of sand/test fit/repeat. The aires exhausts were a pain, having to remove material from both kit and exhaust tube. That said, I ended up using both in a Trumpeter kit, which made for interesting fitting. Try Phase Hangar Resin for your extras. https://phasehangarresin.com/collections/32001-1-
Kagemusha
Tim (Wunwinglow) produces a full pylon set, including the centreline one.
Marcel111
I built the kit a while back. I found the Aires cockpit, exhausts and wheel wells to fit perfectly. The surface detail of the kit is exceptionally rough though, I regret not filling and rescribing the whole model. Cheers, Marcel
Chek
Marcel's build log over on ARC (back in about 2011 IIRC) is well worth looking up as a reference itself, and fitting those parts you ask about. Marcel111
Kagemusha
The nose undercarriage by Aerocraft is highly recommended. wunwinglow
otis252
I wish we could get Brimstone missiles for the Eurofighter. Chuck wunwinglow and Michael931080
Michael931080
Brimstones would be a nice touch but I would rather some for the Tornado myself! otis252 and wunwinglow
Tony T
As well as the Aerocraft brass nose leg, I would recommend the CWS etched inlet part... https://coldwarstudio.com/PE Detail Set 1/32 scale category/ The kit splitter plate is one of the few ghastly elements of the otherwise accurate Revell. Not sure about the way CWS have interpreted the rear fairings, but this set looks great — tucked away ready for use so I cannot comment on fit. Could still use full intake trunking but the intake covers already mentioned look good and add a splash of colour. otis252
I agree, I'd love to see have Brimstones for my Tornado GR4. Chuck wunwinglow and thierry laurent
Tony T
Might be in the Italeri Tornado kit, which is still listed as a future release. The two seater Eurofighter kit has more air-to-surface options. Tony
