Chris/Germany
Hy ladies, besides helping my son with his "predator"-figure and also helping him with a rocket-model they are doing in school I found the time for some progress on the "two-six-two Here it is: foreward fuselage filled ( not really complete, will be done after fuselage halfes are mated together)
Chris/Germany
scratchbuilders decision : although I received a great bunch of Jerry-Rutman parts from Alan/Austria ( thanx again, mate ) I decided to scratch the whole cockpit. Hardest thing was the "bathtub-style" front cockpit section, including sidewalls and detailing it......a bit like building a "ship in a bottle"......... Chris/Germany
radar operators office: because the Me 262 two-seater was, as far as i know, not a real development of the single-seater-version but more a "conversion" from one of the 0-series planes I suggested that the radar-operators cockpit was only made from adding sidewalls and a floor to the inner fuselage ( after replacing the main fuel-tank of the single seater), so thats why the "bath-tub" stops at bulkhead Nr.6. enjoy the ripper
