  1. Thanks for feedback it is one of those projects I keep going back and changing and adding as I go but what a Fantasic kit hope Airfix will do a Tempest lol you never know.
  2. Here is front shot with prop exposed as well
  3. A little more on this beast building and painting it in sections a bit of a challenge
  4. I would really like to share my build of this fantastic kit .I like most of you have been waiting for this release for 20 years the typhoon being my favorite of all ground attack planes made it even better.Starting with my plan to expose one whole side of aircraft this is a grand task and I'm learning a lot along the way .I have cut open fuel tanks as well and exposed inside structures much like model in Hendon.I know I have not posted here in a long time but I"m always lurking at the great talent and thought I would at least post some of the progress along the way still lots to do. Thanks Dave
  5. hi All it's been a long time since I posted but always checking out on the huge talent here. I thought I would share this build because of it's topic nature just hope I put it in the right spot so here goes. This is a Dave DEAL inspired Hawker typhoon dave gave us those whacky plane kits from revell rif raf Spitsfire, and mezzashintzle and others and because the typhoon is one of my favs I thought what would it look great in a cartoon version in this style.I started by cutting up an old 1/32 scale revell kit and puttying the @#&@ out of it.I used famous canadian 440 sq pulverizer for paint scheme and bombs .The engine is from dragster kit. This was a lot of fun to build hope you all enjoy this whacky build. 6. thanks for the kind words I don't have a long shot of this kit I did change the spinner I made one from wood cut on a lathe lots of little things added here and there. This kit is truly one of airfix's best detailed kits, here are some more pics.
  7. Hi all this is a kit I did a while back I dropped the flaps and detailed engine and cockpit. All letter markings are sprayed on as well as upper wing roundels. This has to be one of Airfix's finnest.
  8. WoW paintjob is topnotch the whole display is killer awesome work.We had seafurys stationed in Canada in the Province of Manitoba in a small town called rivers the airfield and some buildings are still there and they say there are some seafurys and other aircraft that were buried there.
  9. The detail work is truly amazing, really like the wing section and fuel tank.can't wait to see gun bay.
