Same thoughts too. I may try to cast my Revell P-51D antenna mast using oyamaru. After further reading and research, I think I can skip the canopy framing since these were added to the mid to late L variants.

Tamiya desert yellow and nato brown. Aiming for a faded thing. Will distress with oils once decals are on and sealed

Very good color choice, I think you've got a sound basis to achieve the faded result. Will follow with interest!!

Well, what can I say? This just keeps getting better and better - I do have a real

soft spot for desert camouflaged WW2 aircraft. Excellent job so far :goodjob:

In way, the kit is done, just the landing lights and small details to finish. So before posting to the RFI the fully finished images, here's the kit wheels down.

I painted the scalloped quarters in interior green to give it a little color.
