Lothar Tamiya desert yellow and nato brown. Aiming for a faded thing. Will distress with oils once decals are on and sealed Lothar and Out2gtcha 1 1
Lothar Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Very good color choice, I think you've got a sound basis to achieve the faded result. Will follow with interest!! Lothar
docdodj01 Posted August 8, 2019 Author Posted August 8, 2019 Decals are on. R Palimaka, KUROK and LSP_Kevin 3
docdodj01 Posted August 8, 2019 Author Posted August 8, 2019 Well hello beautiful! KiwiZac, Out2gtcha, KUROK and 2 others 5
Lothar Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Well, what can I say? This just keeps getting better and better - I do have a real soft spot for desert camouflaged WW2 aircraft. Excellent job so far Lothar docdodj01 1
Out2gtcha Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Say, that's nice! Like Lothar, I'm very partial to camo schemes, especially desert ones.
docdodj01 Posted August 17, 2019 Author Posted August 17, 2019 In way, the kit is done, just the landing lights and small details to finish. So before posting to the RFI the fully finished images, here's the kit wheels down. I painted the scalloped quarters in interior green to give it a little color. Now just need to do a good photography session for this! R Palimaka, KUROK, zaxos345 and 2 others 5
1to1scale Posted August 18, 2019 Posted August 18, 2019 Nice work! Very impressed, can’t wait to see the RFI!
R Palimaka Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Excellent work! You're so close now! Richard
Out2gtcha Posted August 29, 2019 Posted August 29, 2019 Very nice work! I love the scheme a lot. My only thought might be to add a small flat spot to the mains to give it a bit of a nice "sit". Dont forget the exhausts!
