Madelf75
This is my F-14A tomcat i started back in December and just now finished ,This has been a long process and i am happy to see it done .it has Aires Pit , wheel well and along with open and closed cans. I also added in Zactomodels intakes which were really nice and I enjoyed using them.On the exterior i used Eduards Photo etch .The Aim 9 Missiles are from a set of cutting edge that i had laying around waiting to be used ,The Aim 7 are from Eduards and the Aim 54 are from the kit. The Marking are a set i created for my self using painting mask on my silhouette cutter . The stencils are from the kit Shawn M, Lud13, Whitey and 10 others

aircommando130
That is a nice looking Tomcat. I liked the early Tomcat squadron markings and the Enterprise I think was the first carrier to have them aboard. Great finish...dirty but still fairly clean for a new fleet jet. Squizzy 78
Looks Awesome, I have a trumpeter f-14b in the stash with all the resin sets. I'm a bit worried about painting the zactomodels intakes and losing the fine detail in that set. But yours look awesome, very nice work!

bushande
Awesome interpretation. My highest respect and congrats to that built! It seems you were out to depict 159625, the second "incarnation" of VF-2's NK-201 in 1976 (after 158629, the first NK-201 of VF-2 during the 74/75 cruise, namely the second operational fleet Tomcat after 158627 that went to VF-1). In such an early state you wouldn't see the reenforcement plate around the RIOs step though, but that is a detail only crazy F-14 nutts would even note. Fantastic build. Can't believe you did the markings all via painting! You can really be proud of yourself.
Madelf75
I never clamed to be a expert on the F-14 I just wanted to have a clean build but I'm also not a rivet counter Awesome interpretation.
