David Hansen
I have a friend with a Dragon 109E he's looking to liquidate, along with some other stuff. I know absolutely nothing about 109s, especially the early versions. What is the consensus on this kit? TIA, david
EvilCarrot
If you want an Emil it's the best option out there.
David Hansen
If you want an Emil it's the best option out there. That seems to be the initial indication. Thanks!
LSP_K2
It's an absolutely outstanding kit. I'm working on mine right now in fact. David Hansen and Rick Griewski
LSP_Ray
Here is my review: DML/Cyberhobby Bf-109E-4. The 'b' parts are in this one, too. LSP_K2

I like mine so much, I'll be getting another.

LSP_Ron
It is by far the best option and a very nice kit but the cowl takes a little fiddling to make fit if you want it closed up. The kit wasn't really designed for a closed cowl. Rick Griewski and LSP_K2

I prefer the Eduard Emils though; they are less fiddly.

Rick Griewski
Having built a few Eduard Emils, I gotta say that that if the Eduard Emil is LESS fiddly, that's really saying something. :-/ I am buying the kit so I guess I will see how fiddly it is. May not be all that great of a comparison come to think of it. All my Eduard Emils have bee donor kits for B and D back dates. The engine egg and prop goes in the spares box. LOL RIck

LOL RIck I already ran into a couple of things that I now wish I'd done differently, but perhaps (hopefully) will remember when I do my E-3.
