Looks great! Nice and busy, especially for what will be seen once the fuse is closed. Just make sure to straighten those ribs you worked so hard on before closing her up!

Thanks Brian!

With the waist windows in, you'll be able to see some of the details I've added. Hopefully more will be visible with the boarding hatches open.

Thanks Peter! I've made it through the first week with my insanity intact. Although maybe a few more grey hairs.

I hear you. We've got my wife's cousin visiting from Scotland at the moment so I haven't had much bench time the last couple of days. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get some work done.

Carl, I’m speechless.

Almost.

simply an awesome build, man.

Thanks Ernie!

This build has been so much out of my usual comfort zone with all the scratch built details that it's sometimes a bit daunting. But I've certainly learned a bunch and hope to keep at it.

OK, I finally got a bit of bench time today. But, more importantly I got a splint for my finger.

Which oddly now gets in the way more. Guess I'll have to learn to adapt to it.

One of the hardest bits for me was figuring out how to make the floor panel by the rear entry hatch. I ended up cutting a small opening in the floor I'd previously made and slowly enlarging it until it matched the size of the hatch and was suitably centered.

One thing that I had to do was peel off the sandpaper I'd previously applied. I'll replace later.

Here it is dry fitted in place.

Next up is a coat of paint and replacing the sandpaper covering.
